First Line:
It was, perhaps, the greatest torment to love someone who barely seemed to notice one’s existence.
Doesn’t that make you want to run out and grab a copy and snuggle in your comfy reading space to shut out the world? It does for me!! ♥
Your turn! Grab the book nearest you and post the first line in the comments!

Happy Friday! My first line is from “Kate’s Song” by Jennifer Beckstrand:
“Is he dead? Please tell me he’s not dead!”

Happy Friday!
On my blog I’m sharing the first line from Underestimating Miss Cecelia by Carolyn Miller: https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2019/07/18/first-line-friday-94/.
Today, I’m currently reading The Spice King by Elizabeth Camden. It’s an excellent story that I highly recommend! I’m just starting chapter 34, so I’ll share from there.
“Gray rarely took the time to read The Washington Post first thing in the morning.”
Hope you have an excellent weekend!!! 😀❤📚

This one does sound wonderful. I love the cover! I had the privilege of listening to this author speak about her writing at a book signing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a hoot. I will have to check out this latest novel of hers. Thanks for sharing.
